KASH Playground at Mead Park can be found at the corner
of Highway 66 west (previously Highway 10 West) & Whitney
Street in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
A 3-acre open, grassy area within our existing 15.6-acre Mead Park is the site of the universal playground project. The site is set back from Highway 66 (360 feet), West Whitney Street (100 feet) and from the Wisconsin River (approximately 200 feet). It is along the Green Circle State Trail which is directly connected to the Tomorrow River State Trail. Other current facilities at Mead Park include: washroom/open shelter facilities, lighted tennis courts, disc golf, lighted ball diamond, picnic area, sand beach with restroom facilities, lighted horseshoe courts and lighted volleyball courts.4
